Kart Buggy Horizontal Shaft Motor 13hp For Go Kart/buggy?

Horizontal shaft motor 13hp for go kart/buggy? - kart buggy

IM looking to buy an engine for my go-kart and need to ask some questions. Link here: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/4-stroke-13hp-Stationary-Motor-HORIZONTAL-SHAFT-ENGINE_W0QQitemZ300267583735QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item300267583735&_trkparms=39% 3A1% 7C66% 3A2% 7C65% 3A1% 7C240% 3A1318 & _trksid = p3286.c0.m14

1 - This is a reliable engine?
2 - You have only 1 or manual transmission, and if it is automatic or manual?
3 - would be even a buggy or go-kart?
4 - If a go-kart and began to drag the foreword Go Go-Kart, or may be in a position? If you want to go foreword and to apply the brakes or and will continue to operate?
5 - Is this using the same type of kart parts kart engines?

1. With proper care, yes, but you are probably a two-stroke go-kart, they are much faster.
2. No, I have no gear. It was the wave that you have a centrifugal clutch.
3. Yes, I would. I have a similar engine, but a 7.5HP 2-stroke and is fast enough.
4. If you do not move it until the clutch participation. You have somthing like this, but you get the right size for the output shaft.

If you keep healthy for the brake. You have against the engine until the clutch brake.
5. This kart is a step above normal for the. Most of them are between 5-10 hp. If this engine will fit the penalty should be fast enough.
